Armando
Chef Armando’s culinary journey, shaped by travels across Mexico and Europe, fostered his love for fresh ingredients and diverse traditions. A Le Cordon Bleu Austin graduate (2004), he refined his craft at The Barranca Grill, Sames Auto Arena, and La Posada Hotel, where he spent 15 years mastering his expertise.
Now Executive Chef at DoubleTree Laredo, he blends Latin flavors with global influences, mentors aspiring chefs, supports local farmers, and infuses every dish with creativity inspired by his heritage, nature, and family.
